Description:

Small shrub, 30 cm high, although it can reach up to 1 m. The leaves are narrow, hairy, sticky and wrinkled. The flowers are white, with five petals and five sepals. Often in southern Europe and northern Africa, in the Mediterranean forests, woodlands, and scrub ecosystems of matorral—maquis shrublands.

Open forest with Holm oaks.
