Ringlet

A⁠phantopus hyperantus

Description:

The ringlet is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. The wing upper and lower sides are chocolate brown with a white margin. There are small yellowish-rimmed eyespots; usually three on the forewings and five on the hindwings. These give the butterfly its name.
