Reason why I didn't list the Guatemala species is because it is rare. The American species is more common for the area.

It is definitely a rubyspot (Hetaerina sp.). I did some research and it is within the range of the vulnerable Guatemala Rubyspot. I am not sure if it is a Guatemala rubyspot or an American rubyspot because I cannot find a description to differentiate them.
