Veined Grass Dart

Taractrocera luzonensis

Description:

I could only take a photo of the ventral side of the butterfly's wings as it was already resting and I don't wanna disturb it. Anyways, it's yellow with some black patterns in the dorsal side that you can still see through from the ventral.

Habitat:

Found this skipper at night resting on a blade of grass, at an unused subdivision plot that serves as a grassland habitat for many species.

Notes:

This subspecies is subsp. luzonensis (found in the Philippines)
