Baltimore Woods Biodiversity Challenge

This Mission is open to plants, animals, fungi, insects and any other natural treasures you find along our trails. We are hoping to document all the species that can be found here, but to start our goal is 500 species by the end of the summer. You do not need to know the species name, we are here to help with that. Please only post photos of things that have been found here at Baltimore Woods. Thanks for your help! Sign in to join mission

Baltimore Woods Nature Center's 182 acres is home to many wildlife species. With six miles of hiking trails it is easy to access all the different habitats here; Philips Pond, Boulder Brook, the old and new beaver ponds, Baltimore Brook, the Faust Garden and many different woodlands. Every day people hike these trails to enjoy the great biodiversity found here. Join this mission and help us document 500 different species by the end of the summer! Let's get nature in your hands!
