Today, Eastern bluebirds are not as common as they used to be. Eastern bluebirds are cavity nesters,and their natural habitat is disappearing. Invasive species such as starlings and house sparrows are also taking places otherwise occupied by bluebirds. Help us document and record bluebird spottings, so others can enjoy these beautiful creatures.
