This mission is about our natural communities projects. Students studied the unique characteristics of several different natural community types: maritime spruce-fir forest, cattail marsh, cedar-spruce seepage forest. In addition, students surveyed a vernal pool to determine if it meets State of Maine requirements for classification in their data base.
