To share information about biodiversity at Turtle Bay Resort.
The Resort has proposed doubling or even tripling the number of units, retail outlets and expanding the footprint to develop the entire property except for 100 acres of Punaho`olapa Marsh, (which the Resort was supposed to restore for four species of Hawaiian Waterbirds years ago).
This 800+ acres of coastal wetland is home to many species of plants and animals protected by the Endangered Species Act, Migratory Bird Treaty Act, Marine Mammal Protection Act plus other State of Hawaii Laws and regulations.
