Life on islands is always very special, with many endemisms or life-forms which survived on the island only while are extinct on the mainland. Although there is no contact between Sardinia and Corsica, for the little distance between the two islands, many endemic animals are in common between the two. It would be interesting to discover the similarities between the two ecosystems.
