East Central Florida
This mission is designed to build an easily searchable and dynamic catalogue of organisms found throughout eastern Central Florida. Primary counties of interest are, from north to south: Flagler, Volusia, Brevard, and Indian counties. Spottings from adjacent counties (such as St. Johns, Putnam, Lake, Seminole, Orange, and Osceola) are entirely acceptable and, in fact, encouraged. Click "Details" for more information about this mission.

If you participate in this mission, please be mindful that our goal is to help other east-central Floridians share and identify their local flora and fauna. Please try to abstain from posting images of pets and/or produce. We want to focus on wild organisms, be they plants, animals, native or invasive. Please note that this mission is not limited to "the beach" itself! Also, we would like to avoid west coast, panhandle, and south Florida spottings -- as ecological population dynamics can be quite different in those other regions. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at jansonjones (at) me (dot) com or by visiting Dust Tracks on the Web, http://dusttracks.com.
