Distinguishing the outdoors as an extraordinary place to live, learn, work and play; and being proactive in efforts to conserve the resources that bring colorful migrant birds each spring are the core values that drive the efforts of the annual New River Birding and Nature Festival. We understand there is a delicate balance that must be maintained to sustain the woodland habitats, and we desire to share that knowledge with those of all ages. Our natural environment is a beautiful resource that can be part of our futures as long as we strive to maintain it.
