Endangered Species of the Southeast USA

Wildlife classified as Endangered, Critically Endangered, or Extinct in the Wild by the IUCN are preferred species to be documented in this mission (Species classified as Vulnerable may also be added). Please add the conservation status of the species (i.e. endangered, extinct in the wild) and at least one reason why the species is threatened with extinction. Also, please DO NOT disclose the location of any critically endangered species, as this could alert it's presence to poachers or illegal pet traders. Sign in to join mission
