My spotting has this same dog in it. along with mine! They are like best friends!
I think it is important no to mix scientific family/species with the race of the dog. If you look at the info in the wiki link you see there is a lot about DNA, also a little bit complex. Let's see what others got here, I have no to go out with Rigo ;-)...
