Halcyon smyrnensis

Habitat:

White-throated Kingfisher is a common species of a variety of habitats, mostly open country in the plains with trees, wires or other perches. This kingfisher is widespread.

Notes:

Well Kingfishers r my favorite ones... just love the blue colored wings... but this one was not interested in showing its wings.... stood there for 20 mins hoping it will turn around but flew away... :(
