Description:

Large crane flies with long, delicate legs. Grayish-brown bodies with a lighter stripe down the middle. Wings are translucent gray with dark markings. Wing pattern is helpful when identifying.

Habitat:

Suburban neighborhood. Attracted to a porch light at night.
