Bluebonnets are the state flower of Texas. For a few weeks every spring, a favorite past time in Texas is the search for the perfect bluebonnet patch. They are fragrant, beautiful, and plentiful and Texans love to take pictures in patches of them.

Habitat:

Texas highways and fields are the most popular sightings for these wildflowers.
