Brown, fuzzy fly with patterned abdomen and wings. This fly is mimicking a bee. Antennae are "hairy, basally-thickened, parallel and nearly touching" - Aaron Schusteff

Unknown weed on trail in chaparral at Daley Ranch

It's kind of hard to see details, but I'm pretty sure this is a bee fly (Family Bombyliidae).
