Hypocrea victoriensis

Description:

Patches of raised white fungus growing on a dead tree branch. There were patches of brown-ochre colour and margins appeared wet, slightly slimy and green on some of the patches. The surface had fine pores - some open and some "plugged" with white fungal matter.

Habitat:

damp eucalypt forest
