Description:

The flowers have a large lip. The lip is hairy and has a dark brown from the middle half of the exterior to the innermost half is colored gray and glabrous board innermost yellow and white. The lip has three lobes with sides that are turned on with a fine, silky hairs. The larger lobe is rounded convex turgid with a base of whitish hairs.They reach a height of 4 dm

Habitat:

This species of terrestrial habits is distributed throughout the Mediterranean. In meadows, olive groves and scrubland, and woods.

and when the ophrys season arriveS they are everywhere!!!
but need some protection here in Spain, lot's of people steal the plants...
so sad...
