Andean Emerald Hummingbird

Description:

The Andean emerald is generally fairly common. It is green above and white below. Some subspecies have a blue crown.

Habitat:

Inhabits wet forest edges, second growth and clearings. Also found in woodland, gardens and scrub in the Andes of Colombia, Ecuador and northern Peru.
