Nobbi Dragon

Amphibolurus nobbi nobbi

Description:

The Nobbi Dragon is an East Australian agamid lizard with a head-to-body length of 25 cm and a tail length of up to 75 cm. Its ear membranes and nostrils are conspicuous, and it has a distinctive stripe along its back which is pale-coloured or yellow on mature males.

Habitat:

Spotted in a dry eucalypt forest.

Notes:

The subspecies Amphibolurus nobbi nobbi occurs from northern New South Wales to the coast and ranges of south-eastern Queensland. The Western subspeciesAmphibolurus nobbi coggeri is found in Victoria
