The adult male Black-naped Monarch is about 16 cm long, and is mainly pale azure blue apart from a whitish lower belly. It has a black nape and a narrow black gorget. Also known as the Black-naped Blue Flycatcher.

Delightful blue bird and the color of its feathers are really interesting; the matching black on the gorget, on top of the beak and the top of its head its wonderful. It is a stylish bird indeed... Great series Dandoucette and thanks for sharing =)
