Fimbriated Moray Eel

Gymnothorax fimbriatus

Description:

A Moray Eel (Family Muraenidae) It is pale green-yellow in color with black spots on its face and can reach a maximum length of 80 cm. It feeds mainly on small fish. They are possibly protogynous hemaphrodites meaning that are born female and at some point in their lifespan change sex to males.
