Scorpaenopsis neglecta
Also known as the Yellowtail Scorpionfish, this species can be highly variable in colour. Scorpionfish are ambush predators - camouflaged from their prey, they lie in waiting until prey comings within reach, then lunge forward, mouth gaping and 'inhale' them!
