Camponotus sericeiventris
Camponotus sericeiventris is part of the carpenter ant, named after their habit of digging the wood to make nests. Maintains highly populated colonies with nests in large trees alive or dead. Their diet is opportunistic and includes floral and extrafloral nectar, and exudate hemipteran lepidopteran, dead and live prey arthropods, and seeds and fruits.
