What's this furry-looking thing on the window; 1.5 cm (0.6 inches) across? 3 days later: Oh, it's a moth's nest!

Habitat:

Hills overlooking Manila.

Notes:

I'm assuming it was a moth, but I didn't actually see the parent-to-be...

Ann, I think it is a moth egg sac as you suggest. I love that you continued to watch this structure to find a solution to part of its life cycle.
