White Peacock Butterfly

Description:

The upper sides of the wing on this butterfly are cream colored and is trimmed with in brown or orange.

Habitat:

These butterflies are common in Central America and among the Caribbean islands. Their range extends into southern Texas and Florida. They can occasionally be found in North Carolina, Missouri, Nebraska, and Kansas. They are usually found in moist or disturbed sites in lowland tropical or semi-tropical areas areas.
