Morbid Owlet Moth

Chytolita morbidalis

Notes:

Please help me identify this moth. I would also love any suggestions for a moth guide book that might resemble "Butterflies Through Binoculars" -- which I love.

Thanks for the ID, Aaron. What a cool name! I'll have to check out the Peterson when it comes out.

Not sure how feasible a moth book would be. There are so many more moth species than butterflies, and a lot of them show a lot of variability. To top that off, there are also many that require very detailed, up-close examination to ID down to species. That being said, I see a Peterson Field Guide that will be released soon on Amazon. Those are usually pretty good field books.
