The Nicobar Pigeon is visually appealing due to its long neck plumage & metallic green coloration. The white tail feathers provide a striking color differentiation. This pigeon in found on the Nicobar Islands, Malay Archipelago, the Solomon Islands, & Palau. It is one of the birds thought to be the closest relative of the didine birds (which included the dodo).
