Description:

brown (woodsy color) about 1 1/2 inch long. Looks like a bunch of tiny logs stuck together I think it is some sort of grasshopper eggs but not sure - ID help much appreciated.

Thank you Cindy :) I had seen a grasshopper standing above this, and thought it might have just laid eggs. I would have never guessed this to be a cocoon.
