Plants of the genus are known commonly as plumeless thistles. They are native to Eurasia and Africa, and several are known elsewhere as introduced species. This genus is noted for its disproportionately high number of noxious weeds compared to other flowering plant genera

Habitat:

Found on safari in the South Luangwa National Park

Notes:

In Africa this is referred to as one of the ’GREEN FIVE’ (Rhino Thistle; Buffalo Bean; Lion’s Tail; Leopard Orchid and Elephant Grass) Can anyone suggest a mission for this please?
