Was this in the wild or a garden? There are some fern like leaves in the background, a possibility that makes me think Ranunculus species. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ranunculus Not an ID but possibility. :)

No, this is the only picture... And the picture is already from June, so I don't remember how the leaves looked like.
