in Trichalus ampliatus the color is more close to orange and the shape of the elytra is little bit different what you think about the genus "Lycostomus"

Ashish, I agree there is a superficial similarity between this beetle and your picture of the cucujid, but your quizlet also states in the description of the family that cuccujids have wings that are parallel-sided. This lycid beetle has wings that are clearly not parallel-sided.
