Description:

A very busy Hesperiid butterfly about 16mm long exploring a weird mix of plants and not staying long on any. Got two shots though.

Habitat:

In a local nature reserve.

Notes:

Sometimes called Barred skipper.
Southeastern Australia particularly NSW and Victoria near the coast.

They are not easy to capture are they ...skippers suit them so well ..always just skipping out of the viewfinder !
