small green variable leaf beetle with brown and white stripes

Habitat:

Associated with acacia

Notes:

These were scarce this year but dozens were noticed today on several nearby bushes. Several were mating.

Also called the fire blight beetle, this one has a new name, Peltoschema orphana

I dont think I would've even seen your beetle martin. His camouflage is awsome!
