Saptha sp
The most beautiful insect that i have ever spotted . In the colors of Greenish Blue on the upper head region and metallic brass and gold on the lower part. The legs were banded in black and white and the antennas were short and thick. I managed to capture both the frontal and back images of this Insect until it flew off .It was about 1 centimeter in length.
This spotting is dedicated to all the friends and members of Project Noah , who are following my spotting and postings. Thank you .. Friends. Thank you Bayucca for the perfect I.d.,links and thank you Eric. http://www.flickr.com/photos/gbohne/6260...

Evening from Malaysia and Hi Emma ! One of my precious finds and thank you.
Magical cape.... i like that ! The image you see is exactly what i saw before my eyes and it was a beauty even before i saw it through the lens. Its been sometime now and i passed the same place for my walks in the morning , but i don't see it anymore.Sometimes i feel that it is meant to be seen by someone and discovered . Thanks igorneau.
I saw this same Metalmark moth in the secondary vegetation , while going up the highland 4 days ago. It was slightly bigger by about 4mm maybe and the color was brighter. it was raining heavily and I had no chance to use the Camera.
Come to think of it , you are right . The name itself is Awesome ! Thanks Gerardo Aizpuru.
