In a local nature reserve.
Another one that has taken a liking to introduced grape vines.

Moths know when they are onto a good thing ...too beautiful to be a pest :(
Thanks James. This moth family, Agaristinae, are mostly black with white, and mostly daytime flyers - so extra confusing with butterflies. I think this one has invaded the US too from memory... following the grape vines. A wino moth!
