Description:

orange red with bold black markings. The back has V-shaped markings. The antennae and legs are black.

Habitat:

these bugs have piercing and sucking mouthparts and feed on the sap of Milkweed plants Found one solitary bug , on a old dry dandelion flower weed.

Haha i wish i could say i wouldn't know ...but yes i have tasted it curiosity is a wonderful thing ..and agree YUCK ..bugs can have that .

It's that time of year ... lots of piercing and sucking going on. That milkweed juice is awful too!
