Description:

This little damselfly really wanted it's pic taken. About 45mm long. Mostly dark bronze but with cream coloured markings.

Habitat:

In a local nature reserve.

Notes:

I think this is ' Australian Common Flatwing - Austroargiolestes icteromelas ' but must eat dinner now so I will check later.... yum... yep I was right.

Thanks Neil. I tried to get a couple of these earlier and they wouldn't let get within several metres. This one just sat there.

Thanks James but what's a lens? We and I use el-cheapo, point-and-shoot pocket cams. Can't afford that fancy stuff. If a little critter lets me poke the cam right into it's face it's a lucky day. :-)
