Chrysomela populi
Length is about 10-12 mm. Head and pronotum are black, while elytra are bright red, with a black stain at the base. It can be distinguished from Chrysolina grossa by its shorter antennae and less estensive pronotum. It feeds on plants of the Salicaceae species, especially Populus and Salix species.

Thanks for your suggestion, Nawal - but this is no L. lilii.
Liliis are red also on the front...this one's black.
Plus, the abdomen of this one is shaped more oval than a L. lilii
