It's hard to say for sure, but looks like a female tanager to me. We don't see Western Tanagers here, only Summer Tanagers and on rare occasion a migrating Scarlet Tanager.
Liam,there is a big similarity between a female Tanager and a female lesser gold finch, at least in this frontal view.
