uniquely shaped moth, about 2", note the heart shape where the bottom of the wings meet
montane forest, about 800m
I spotted this in the washroom at Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park. It's one of the coolest moths I've seen. For some reason it makes me think of Batman, maybe like one of his weapons or his insignia.

I would agree with Lymantriidae and Actornis obtusa. The links from Alex in flickr are in my opinion wrong or not updated. I leave a message to check the Russian forum, where Alex also have posted and commented.

found these in flikr, family Drepaninae for sure but there are some doubts on further identification !!

You're probably right Ashish, looks like it could be in Epiplemae but it is a huge family, where to start?
