That it was, Martin. The day before yesterday I saw another pair in the same frantic dance on a friend's jatropha bush (unfortunately they were backlit badly and I didn't get any pics--it would have been great with the background of red flower

This is an amazing series and must have been a joy to observe them. The female has a larger abdomen. Notice her feeding (pic #1 and 3) and rolling up her proboscis in pic #2
