This male songbird just caught breakfast. His "back, wings and tail plain olive. Chin, throat, and upper chest bright yellow. Belly whitish. Dusky flanks. Bright yellow undertail coverts. Broad black mask extending from side of neck through the auricular area and from the eye to the forehead. Whitish to grayish line above black mask separating it from the olive crown." - Cornell Lab of Ornithology
Mixed Oak forest. "They are abundant breeders in North America, ranging from southern Canada to central Mexico. Northern races are migratory, wintering in the southern parts of the breeding range, Central America and the West Indies. Southern forms are largely resident. This species is a very rare vagrant to western Europe. Thank you James. I have Photoshop Elements but hope to get a watermark program soon. This was is time consuming and inconsistent but it does its job.
