Unknown skink

Description:

Sometimes in the dead heat of afternoon, I would see this type of skink, probably sun skink (?) wandering about in the backyard . Though rather shy, they still would come inside the back porch and look for cooler and darker hiding places.

I'm no Reptile specialist so I'll just mention the 4 Mabuya skink species of Borneo from the checklist.
