Cuban Tree Frog

Osteopilus septentrionalis

Description:

Little treefrog Found on our back porches just now. Body about 2" long. Body color muddy brown with a mossy-green pattern. Large sticky toe-pads. Beautiful golden eyes. (Am I the only one who thinks frogs and toads have lovely eyes?)

Habitat:

Ocala, Florida, former Sandhill habitat. (Thicket remaining next to our lot with turkey oak, Cabbage Palm, cogon grass , 1 Longleaf Pine.)
