I'm with Liam based on the photo. Looks more racer than coachwhip to me, though coachwhips *can* deviate from the color shift. This fella also looks browner than most racers -- but still, seems racer to me based on this photo. More photos could help peg this down.

Not a Coachwhip, they turn brown towards the end of the trunk. I'd guess a Black Racer (Coluber constrictor constrictor): http://www.snakesandfrogs.com/scra/snake...
