Description:

This crustose lichen had such beautiful, sky-blue apothecia and was completely stunning. The apothecia were rimmed with black/dark blue and the thallus was gray.

Habitat:

Growing on large, moss-covered rocks in a mixed forest.

Thanks for all the comments! I love finding this lichen because you never know if the apothecia will be pink, blue, purple, or a combination!
