Description:

Upright, large, smooth perennial to 9 ft. Stem is solitary, occasionally branched in upper portion. Yellow orange flower head to 5 in. long. Leaves to 8 in. smooth, grey green.

Habitat:

Growing in the Heritage Elementary School, Texas Our Heritage Garden, representing the ten eco regions of Texas.
