Apiomerus flaviventris
About 23mm long. Aposematic colouration of black with red spots on legs and thorax, yellow outline of thorax and scutellum, with red hemelytra; abdomen has a yellow and black margin. This guy had caught a tiny beetle.
Found in 'El Cimatario', a national park in semi-arid area just outside the city. The rainy season is now in full swing and many animals are venturing out.
